Animaletto House in Bucharest

"Someone introduced me to this place last year. I then had their Carbonara which was very tasty. Not the best I’ve had but correctly cooked. It didn’t stand out to me then, but on a whim, I have decided I must go again. Went for dinner on a Tuesday night because we were craving pizza and had previously heard theirs was amazing. Of course, we had to try it out! Sure enough, we were not disappointed! I would most definitely recommend their pizza - the dough was AMAZING and despite it having prosciutto, it was still surprisingly fresh and light. Definitely one of the best pizzas in Bucharest, did not expect this at all! Drinks were lovely. The interior is sooo cute and warm, and the music is wonderful as well. A bit loud at times, but not that big of an issue. There are also live performances sometimes, so keep an eye out for that as well. They have a downstairs area that is highly elegant, but I’d choose it for drinks mostly. For dining, I recommend asking for a table upstairs or in their garden if the weather allows it. Huge plus - they are pet friendly! All in all, amazing experience, super pleasantly surprised about the food and will definitely revisit."

"Very nice place! The food is delicious and the terrace has the perfect vibe for a summer outing. We ordered eggs benedict, egg tacos and pastas. We also tested the lemonades and they are very good, and so is the coffee."

"A special restaurant, located in a beautifully restored old house, tastefully and uniquely renovated. It’s the perfect place to visit on a rainy evening, and when the sun is out, the terrace is a great option—so is the upstairs balcony (where you can have a large table for a gathering with friends). I recommend the pizza—surprisingly, it’s one of the best I’ve had in Bucharest (surprising because it’s not a place that specializes in pizza, like Animaletto Pizza Bar, for example). Also, the croissant and vanilla pudding dessert is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back—I feel good here every time."

"Italian restaurant in the center of Bucharest, serving mainly pasta dishes, and with a cozy indoor area and a large terrace. There is a wide selection of cocktails, which were delicious despite being on the pricier side for a similar restaurant in Bucharest. Lemonades were also wonderful, especially the strawberry lemonade. The food experience was mixed. The steak pasta was extremely salty, sadly ruining many of the flavors, yet the truffle pasta was extremely good. Service was impeccable throughout the entire experience. Overall a good restaurant which is worth visiting, especially for their atmosphere and drinks."

"The place looks nice and fresh. The food is ok. Staff very friendly and well prepared. I had the hummus with beef and tagliatelle with beef. The hummus was a bit bland, but the pasta was really flavorful. Just one kind of dessert."
